I'M Not Enjoying College

10/29/2016  · Yes, but don’t give up. Most students who attend college are doing so immediately following senior year of high school. This is not always the case but a large majority of freshman undergraduates are aged 18 or 19. See this question. What is the n…

3/28/2016  · At the same time, I’m constantly questioning if I’m doing this whole college thing right. In my own way, I’ve been very successful too, but something is just not resonating with me. I’m scared. I’m overwhelmed. I’m anxious, I’m depressed and, in general, I’m just not happy. When I tell people, I often get told that that’s life.

If you’re struggling with, or just not enjoying your course, you should talk to your personal tutor to discuss what you should do about this. If you’re struggling, you can also talk to your lecturer about this after class, or during their office hours, and they may help by talking you through aspects of the module that you’re struggling with.

I’m thankfully no longer feeling sad 24/7, but I’m still not enjoying myself. My biggest problem is that I don’t really have any friends. During the early weeks, I tried as hard as I could to be outgoing and make friends, but I was unsuccessful. The school definitely has an active party culture, and I’m not into that.

11/25/2012  · Today I’m going to speak about something that has pretty much changed me completely in the last couple of years. Not enjoying university. This is quite personal to me and while I don’t mind speaking about it, I am aware that there are always going to be people that just can’t understand the impact of what’s happened.

That’s the bottom line, I’m FUCKED. I’m facing being a college dropout with a 3.7 GPA for failing a single class, not being able to get into a class that filled absurdly quickly, or not being able to get into a class because my adviser has poor time management skills. tl;dr – I’m fucked. I hate college . edit: By the way, Sunday is my birthday.

12/9/2008  · All I ever hear/heard is/was, college was the best time of my life. i love college . wait until you get to college . well. i’m here now, i’ve completed my first quarter succesfully and not only am i dissapointed, i’m lonely, sad, and wondering if for the next four years life will just be…bearable. i went out of state for college , i pulled in some scholarship money and decided i was going …

11/24/2014  · After doing a one-year college course that was very broad, I started a degree in journalism at Dublin City University that wasn’t. While it covers bits I like, the focus is on bits I don’t.

I’m not resentful towards those whose college years really were the best four years of their lives. But I needed a fresh start, and that’s okay. If you’ve been unhappy for too long, you will eventually hit a wall. It’s a harsh reality check that confirms that not only do you want a change, you pretty much need it. It took me two and a …

10/26/2017  · I’m writing this post to to humbly offer some reassurance to high-school seniors who might be feeling a little angsty about college . It’s OK not to go to c ollege. In fact, not going to college right now might be the best choice you can make. Here are 3 reasons NOT to go to c ollege: 1. You Can’t Afford It. It’s no secret that the cost of …
